Who is the cleaning fairy?

If you have stumbled across our blog, you’re either sick of looking at the dust on your TV unit, that could be used as evidence in a crime scene because it has that many finger prints on it, or changing your bed covers has become such a struggle that you’re worried they will soon grow legs and take themselves to the washing machine.

life can be hard and sometimes there’s just not enough hours in the day – and don’t we all know it? No sooner have you got up and gone to work and it’s time to come home, eat dinner, then it’s time to start all over again!  Dishes are left, washing piles grow larger and the empty toilet roll tubes are making a fabulous statue on your bathroom floor.

What would it be like to have a magic little fairy visit your home once, maybe twice a week, and do all those jobs you simply can’t do or hate doing – because, let’s be honest, we all have that one job we keep putting off in the hope our partner or the elf’s will do for us.  I often wonder what it would be like to have a housekeeper, even though that’s my job, what would it be like to come home and be hit in the face by the smell of a freshly cleaned house, that pile of washing has been tackled and your ironing for the week is done!

I guess you could call me one of those little magic fairies! I daily flit from home to home waving my magic wand which sometimes feels more like running around like a headless chicken to make sure your home is perfect for you walking through the door. The satisfaction of knowing I’ve made a difference to someone’s day is what makes my job so rewarding. There are times when I may go home with wet feet and the muscles in my arms burning from vacuuming a 5-bedroom house in an hour, but hey its worth every second to see the smile on a little old dears’ face or a mum or dad’s face when their kids’ room is tidy and their toys are contained to only one area!

Come back next week and find out what we’ve been up to in the run up to Christmas. It’s the crazy season which can lead to madness and mayhem among our team and the families we visit.

Sit back, relax and let us do the housework
