Living Wage Week (10–16 November 2025) is a good moment to pause and talk honestly about something that sits at the heart of our business: how we pay our people. At Pure Concierge Cleaning Co, we’re an accredited Real Living Wage Employer with the Living Wage Foundation. That means we’ve made a clear commitment to pay our housekeepers a wage based on the real cost of living – not just the legal minimum. For us, it’s simple. We walk into some of the most beautiful homes in the North East. We are trusted with keys, alarms, pets, family routines and private details of people’s lives. That level of trust can’t be built on low pay and high staff turnover.

Why we chose to accredit

From day one, we’ve said we are a housekeeping company, not just a cleaning agency. Our team doesn’t just “do a job and leave”. They build long-term relationships with clients and their families. To do that properly, we need stability. We need people who feel secure, respected and

valued. Paying the Real Living Wage is a line in the sand.

We chose to accredit because:
